Old Business/ Project 1

1. There are still pages that are “Untitled”. All pages MUST be titled.

2. There are several sites with the wrong URLs in WordPress. It is impossible for WordPress to know if you changed directories (folders). You must relink them.

3. Missing images and links are the results of wrong links. Please go back and check your sites, each page, from WordPress. If they work on your computer, that is no guarantee that they will work once uploaded. Mistakes usually are from working from several root folders at once, rather than ONE root folder.

 

In Class Today

1. Fix ALL issues with your first site

2. If you haven’t done so yet, change themes in WordPress, check that all links work, and link your sites to the screen shots of your site (image review in class)

3. Upload Spry Menu exercise to your server. Call the root folder menu_test and drag the entire folder into your server. Your URL should then be http://yourname.sunyulster-webclass.com/menu_test

3. Show me wireframe, proposal

4. Pick Layout from Dreamweaver 5.5 and using that style layout, start to do your Photoshop sketch

 

New Business/ Project 2

1. For Thursday: Have a logo with a simple graphic and type treatment and the beginning of your Photoshop design.

2. At 3:00, be ready to present your project proposal, the site you’re redoing and the Photoshop sketch of  your new design
